A project management SaaS out-cites three rivals inside ChatGPT's recommendations

Before this engagement, the platform showed up nowhere when buyers asked AI assistants for tool recommendations - smaller competitors were getting named instead. We rebuilt comparison content around real usage patterns rather than feature lists, added structured product data, and ran a digital PR push around a proprietary remote-work productivity survey. It's now the most frequently named tool in its category.

When ransomware hits, AI assistants now point straight to this MDR provider

A ransomware victim's first search is usually frantic and specific - "what to do in the first hour," not generic security advice. We built an incident-response hub around those exact moments, backed it with breach-response data pulled from the firm's own case files, and earned coverage from three publications AI models already treat as trustworthy sources.

Turning "is it safe?" into this wallet provider's most-cited query category

Trust is the whole battle in crypto, and AI assistants simply weren't naming this self-custody wallet when users asked if the category was safe. We built a transparent security-practices page with verifiable, sourced claims, rewrote FAQ content around the actual objections raised in Reddit and Discord threads, and tied the brand to its audited smart contracts with entity markup.

Retirement planning searches in one metro market now lead back to one firm

Retirement content sits squarely in YMYL territory, so generic advice articles were never going to earn a citation. We rebuilt the firm's planning content around verifiable credentials, added author bios naming each advisor's CFP designation, and localized the advice to the firm's actual service-area tax rules instead of recycling national averages.

After a crash, accident victims across three states now land on one firm's guides

This is one of the most competitive query categories in local search, and the firm was getting outranked by content farms with no real legal expertise behind them. We rebuilt the accident-response guides around real procedural detail - claim deadlines, evidence preservation steps - attributed every guide to a named attorney, and cleaned up schema across all three state-specific practice pages.

Freight capacity questions now route straight to this 3PL's own market data

Shippers increasingly ask AI tools to explain freight market dynamics before they ever call a broker, and this 3PL wasn't part of that conversation. We built content around the seasonal capacity and rate-volatility patterns the company already tracked internally, published a quarterly freight index under its own name, and cleaned up structured data across the quote-request flow.

Methodology
How We Measure What's
On This Page

Tracked Queries

We monitor a defined set of target queries weekly across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews for every active client - not just at the start and end of an engagement.

Verified Citations

A citation only counts once it's confirmed and holds up on a repeat query. One-off mentions that don't recur the following week are excluded from what gets reported here.

Audited Outcomes

Traffic, lead, and revenue figures are pulled directly from the client's own Search Console, CRM, or analytics platform - never from our internal estimates or projections.

Common Questions
Before You Reach Out
How do you verify the numbers in these case studies?
Every metric on this page comes from the same dashboards we hand clients access to - Search Console data, AI citation tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, and CRM-attributed lead data where the client has shared it. We don't run projections or model hypothetical outcomes; what's published is what happened, measured against the baseline period before the engagement started.
We're not in one of these six industries. Does that matter?
Not particularly. The industries shown here happen to be where we have the deepest published track record, but the underlying methodology - entity optimization, technical foundations, structured data, and authority building - works the same way regardless of vertical. If your category isn't represented yet, ask us directly; we can usually share a relevant engagement that didn't make it onto this page.
How long before we'd see results like these?
Most of the engagements above started showing measurable AI citation movement somewhere between eight and sixteen weeks in, with the larger traffic and lead-volume gains compounding over two to three quarters. Technical foundations and entity work move faster than backlink-dependent authority signals, so the timeline depends heavily on where your current visibility gaps actually are.
Are these real clients, or composite examples?
Each case study reflects one specific client engagement. Company names are withheld at the client's request - most operate in competitive or regulated industries and prefer not to broadcast their search strategy to competitors - but the metrics, timelines, and tactics described are specific to that one account, not blended averages.
What exactly counts as an "AI citation" in these results?
We track three things specifically: whether a brand is named in the direct response from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or Google's AI Overviews for a defined set of target queries; whether the brand's content is the linked source behind that response; and how consistently that citation holds up when we re-run the same queries weekly. A one-time mention doesn't count - we're measuring whether the citation persists.
